The Directorate of Self-Finance Courses, Kakatiya University was setup in the year 2003-2004 to guide monitor and promote the Self Financing Courses in different disciplines in the university including the University Constituent Colleges situated in Warangal, Khammam and Adilabad.

The Directorate has been monitoring the Self Financing Programmes of MBA, MCA, M.Sc. (Computer Science, Botany, Applied Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology), M.Com., B.P.Ed. MA (Hindi, History, Political Science, English), MHRM, MSW, PGDBI, MLISc., MTM, LL.M. About 6,500 students are pursuing their Post-Graduate/Professional courses under the Self Financing. Directorates play an important role in approving the SFC budgets of these courses with the broad guidance of the Monitoring Committee.
